Websites · for small and mid-sized businesses

Websites for small businesses that bring customers.

Anyone who does not know you yet searches online first, before they call. We build the website that leads them to you: built by people who run businesses themselves and know what a decision turns on.

The path from the search to the first conversation.

Between “I need someone for this” and the call to you there are three stations. At each one your website can make the difference, or the competition can.

1
Stage 1 · The search

This is how your customers search today.

Not in the phone book any more, rarely by walking past. People search in the evening on the sofa, on their phone: for whatever they need right now, plus the name of the town.

And more and more often they do not ask Google at all, but an AI. Anyone who does not show up in those answers does not exist for these customers.

2
Stage 2 · The find

This is how you get found, not the chain store.

Reception area of a small business: a low counter in wood and metal, a chair beside it, warm light

We build your website so that Google and AI search understand it: findable locally, lightning fast on a phone, with clean business data behind it.

And because a page that gets found has not won anything yet, it shows straight away what counts: what you can do, who you work for, who stands behind it. Built to sell rather than just to look good, that is the difference between an agency website and one that comes from people who had to sell themselves.

3
Stage 3 · The visit

This is how a click turns into a visit to the store.

How to reach you, how to get there, “do you even do that?”: the website answers the questions that stand between interest and a phone call, without anyone having to search.

Anyone who wants to sell online can get a connected Shopify store as well. For most businesses that is exactly the point though: the website does not have to process anything, it has to make people get in touch.

A quiet corner for a first conversation: two armchairs facing each other, a low table between them with two glasses of water
4
Stage 4 · Afterwards

And after that? The site stays with us.

A website is not a project with an end date. Operation, monitoring and legal compliance stay with us from day one. Every website stays under support; which tier that is, you decide. You never touch the technology again. What the tiers cover and cost is set out further down under pricing.

The path does not end at launch, it ends in a lasting partnership. That is exactly what the O stands for.

The first business was our own.

Before we built websites for others, we had to sell ourselves. That is the difference from an agency that only knows an owner’s day from briefings.

Jochen Schüttler

Has been running businesses himself for more than ten years: in store and in e-commerce across more than ten online marketplaces in Germany, Europe and the United States. He knows from his own till what makes a page sell and what only looks good.

Patrick Schneider

Builds the technology behind it and comes from enterprise-level IT security. That makes your website not only fast and modern, but solidly secured from day one, including the ongoing maintenance afterwards.

We are glad to walk you through current projects in the intro call.

Two ways businesses come to us.

Deliberately labeled as examples: they show the approach, not a specific client.

Example scenario

Nobody finds us online, even though we are busy.

An owner-run business with loyal regulars, but the website is ten years old and barely usable on a phone. Google shows the bigger provider next door instead. We rebuild: fast on mobile, findable locally, services and people up front, directions one click away.

After launch the site stays under our care. The owner never touches the technology again.

Example scenario

We do not just want to be found, we want to sell.

A business with its own range of goods wants to sell online as well. This is where the connected Shopify store comes in: items maintained, orders running alongside the day-to-day work. Because we sell across marketplaces ourselves, we know which product data and images work online, and where the effort does not pay off.

Flat rate up front. No surprises.

Three tiers, one promise: you know before we start what it costs.

Small

The focused single page that gets your store to the point.

$2,400

Mid

The multi-page site with room for services and story, with video and scroll animations.

$3,900

Premium

Elaborate design, motion and interactive elements for a presence that stands out.

$5,900

Ongoing support

Comes on top and is a condition. Which tier, you decide. Each with a 12 month minimum term, then one month notice. What each tier covers is right below.

$99 · $219 · $540 /month
Optional add-ons: Shopify store, light brand kit, baseline protection with team training. All prices in US dollars.

Why monthly? Because a website does not work on its own.

Imagine your contact form stops working. The site looks completely normal, only no enquiries arrive any more. You notice after three weeks, or never. That is what monthly support is for: it is not about where the site is hosted, it is about someone keeping an eye on it.

Foundation

So nothing breaks quietly.

$99
per month · 12 month minimum term
  • Your site is checked every minute, and not just whether it loads: we check that the right content is actually being served
  • Your contact form is checked every five minutes. Not the page, the delivery path
  • If something fails, the alert reaches us in about three minutes. You hear it from us, not from a customer who calls
  • Four times a year we rebuild the technology behind your site so security gaps do not sit there
  • Certificate and domain do not expire without us being warned first
  • If your company details change, we update the imprint and privacy notice
  • Your complete state is kept under version control with us. Once a year we restore it as a test and prove that it works
What exactly gets checked

Availability every minute, plus a keyword in the served content: that also catches the case where the address answers and shows an error page. The form path is checked every five minutes through a dedicated health route, without sending a mail. Warning 14 days before the certificate expires, one month before the domain. The source state is kept under version control in the repository, and the restore proof runs on a freshly built container.

Current

So your site grows with you.

$219
per month · 12 month minimum term
  • Everything in Foundation
  • Once a month we put your changes live. You send them as a Word file, we enter them. No appointment needed
  • New staff, new services, opening hours, holidays, seasonal notices
  • If you are hiring, we set the posting up so Google recognises it as a job offer
  • After every change we compare your site against its previous state on 17 points. If something broke, we see it before Google does
  • A report every month: how available your site was, how fast it loads, what we put live
What exactly gets compared

Page title, meta description, the stated canonical address, instructions to search engines, the heading hierarchy, the structured data, the details used for previews in social networks and the load time metrics. 17 rules in three urgency levels. Job postings also get the markup that makes Google read them as a job offer rather than ordinary text.

Visible

So the site works for you.

$540
per month · 12 month minimum term
  • Everything in Current
  • Whatever the check finds, we fix. You do not get a list to work through yourself
  • Four times a year a full check: technology, content, the markup for search engines and the question of whether AI assistants can use your site as an answer
  • We keep building out the structure of your site so Google and AI answers understand more of it: what you offer, where you work, when you can be reached
  • We look at what people searched for when they found you, and shape the texts accordingly
  • We check your Google Business Profile as well and tell you what is missing
  • The report says what was found and what was fixed
What the full check covers

Technical: the instructions file and sitemap, accidental blocks for search engines, click depth, rendering without JavaScript, security headers, the mobile view, structured data and the control of AI crawlers. For AI answers: whether the answer sits in the first 40 to 60 words, whether sections stand on their own, whether claims are backed, paragraph length, question and answer format, and the file AI systems use to orient themselves. What the check cannot do: it tells you whether your site is citable, not whether a particular assistant actually cites it.

Add-on

Google Business Profile

So your listing is right when someone looks you up.

$165
per month · available with any tier

In the first month we clean up your profile from the ground up. That is included in the price.

  • We notice changes you did not make. Users are allowed to edit your profile, and Google changes things on its own. Every month we check that everything still reads the way you want it
  • One post a month, written and published by us
  • We enter public holidays and special hours in advance, so Google does not tell people on its own that your opening hours might differ
  • We answer reviews. Every reply goes to you for approval first
  • We answer questions on the profile, and we post the most important ones ourselves as question and answer
  • Services, categories, your profile description and the link to your website stay current
  • We add photos as soon as you give us material
  • The monthly report carries the numbers from the profile: how often you were found, through which searches, how often someone called and how often directions were requested
What exactly gets maintained

Primary and secondary categories, attributes, service area, regular and special hours, booking link, your services with descriptions, the profile description, the match of your business details across profile, website and legal notice, and a check for duplicate profiles. In the first month we work through all of it once, after that we keep it that way.

What we do not do: We promise no position in the map results; we maintain, we do not rank. We do not obtain reviews, neither bought nor collected, because that breaks Google’s rules. We never reply without your approval, and we invent nothing: posts come from what you give us. Photo production is not included.

Two things up front: Your profile has to be verified, and you give us the manager role. You remain the owner and can take that role away from us at any time. Without this add-on we tell you in the Visible tier what the profile is missing, and you maintain it yourself.

After launch the site is there. From then on you are on your own.

We stay on it, every month

If something breaks, you find out when a customer mentions it

We notice it before you do

Opening hours, seasons, new content: do it yourself, or it stays as it is

You send it to us, we put it live

Imprint, privacy, accessibility: your risk

We keep the legal texts current and check accessibility with every change

The site exists. That is all.

Search engines and AI answers, sharpened continuously

Nobody knows your store. At that price it is not possible.

Two owners who run businesses themselves

Anyone building a website for a few hundred dollars cannot spend time with you at that price. They do not know your services, your year, your customers. That is not an accusation, that is arithmetic. And the cheap option ends up costing your own time: whoever fights with their website for two hours every month pays more in the long run than the fixed price would have cost.

All services and packages at a glance

Answered briefly.

What does a website for a small business cost?

From $2,400 flat, up to $5,900 depending on scope for the premium presence with motion and interactive elements. On top of that comes ongoing support in three tiers: $99 a month for operation, monitoring and legal compliance, $219 with one change run and one report a month, $540 with four full checks a year whose findings we fix. We name every price up front.

Do I need an online store along with the website?

Not necessarily. Most businesses gain simply from having it visible online what they can do and who they work for, so that someone gets in touch. If you really want to sell online, you can have a connected Shopify store. We say honestly what pays off for your business and what does not.

We already have a store. Do you rebuild existing ones?

Yes. We improve existing stores with selling in mind: product pages, product data, images, with the knowledge from our own marketplace business. If you want to start fresh, you get a Shopify store built on the website tier from $2,400. And if a rebuild is the wrong move, we say so honestly.

Do you work for my industry as well?

Most likely yes. Our clients come from fire safety, tax advice, electrical work, restaurants, insurance, coaching and art. What connects them is not the industry but the size: small businesses where the owner handles the technical side on the side. If your industry needs something special, we will tell you openly in the intro call.

Who takes care of the website after launch?

We do, for the long run. No website leaves us without support, but you choose the tier: operation, monitoring, backup and legal compliance cost $99 a month, and we notice a fault before you report it. With the change service and a monthly report it is $219, with four full checks a year and their findings fixed $540 a month. We do not build a website and then disappear.

And what if I do want a change while on Foundation?

Then get in touch and we do it. Individual work outside your tier is billed by time spent, and we name the rate up front, not afterwards. Anyone who changes something two or three times a year is better served that way than by a subscription they barely use. If you notice it is becoming more frequent, we move you up to the Current tier: there you do not have to ask every time, there is a fixed slot each month, and the report comes with it.

Where does our website live, and why does this page have no cookie banner?

Your website runs on servers in Germany, under some of the strictest data protection rules in the world. It loads nothing from third-party servers: fonts, scripts and images all sit with us. That is why it needs no cookie banner: nothing is set that your visitors would have to consent to. Enquiries from the contact form run through Microsoft 365, processed within the European Union. A website builder or a tool like Lovable usually pulls fonts and scripts from other servers, and that is exactly where the banners your visitors resent come from. If you sell into Europe, that setup is not a detail, it is a requirement.

Let us talk about your store.

A conversation between equals, free and without obligation: we look at your business together and say openly whether and how a new website pays off for you. Honest, concrete, no sales talk.
